Quick detachable HD accessories for Deluxe

My Deluxe is set up with everything detachable. All HD. This is a must since the Deluxe looks it's best stripped down. But need everything when the wife is on. I have the nostalgic hard saddlebags and yes, they are a bit small inside. The oem quick detach hardware for them I think is aggravating. Paid $160 for it and I've yet to be able to get it aligned right. It is anything but "quick" detach, at least, until I get it aligned right? I have a Boss travel bag so space really is never a problem and I do like the look of the nostalgic bags the best.
