My bike is in the air and I need help quick - want to finish tonight.
The longer studs came with an adjustment nut to raise and lower the bike. Does that nut go on the front side where the nut that tightens the is shock or does it go on the shock side behind the front shock bracket?
I ask because I tried it with the nut on the shock side and and it seems to push the shock too far back and the back bolt won't go in since the holes don't align.
One in front and one in back is how it goes the one on back is a lockin nut to maintain the adjustment.
Yes, the nut is there - the one that adjusts the stiffness or softness of the suspension. There is another one that came with the shocks to adjust the height. I need to know if that goes in front of the front shock bracket or behind it on the same side as the suspension adjustment nut is located.
The one that came with the kit will go on the very end of the stud, on the far side of the bushing. You will have to take the adjusting nut (the one that you use to adjust the ride height) off the old bolt.
