Front Fender Tip Light
I could NOT remove the pins. They were in there so tight I could not get them free. So - I cut the wires and will splice them back with the heat wrap to seal them good n tight. I HATE doing that because you can really affect the leads badly because they are so exposed under that fender, but in this case I simply did not have a choice.
The dent has been visibly removed and repaired. No need to repaint and you almost cannot tell there is even a dent in it, until you run your hand over it and just a slight ripple can be felt. The body shop folks even buffed the fender for me to remove some of the buff marks from a small tool bag that must have been on the bike before I bought it. It almost looks new.
At some point I DO want to ditch both front and rear fender lights. I like the fender clean. Gives it a sharper crisper line to it, and there is less to worry about. But - thats later. Once I replace the springs and the fork oil, I should be ready for some riding over in Michigan at my folks place next month.
I should have it all reassembled tonight.
