I could have bought ,RK, SG, EG.
I like Baggers and gadgets, music, cup holders.........ON A BOAT!!!!
My hole family rode motorcycles my grandpa on mom's side was a Kenosha Wis motorcycle cop,
My dad was an engineer, and was his dad. They both rode
saw pictures of all 5 of their Harleys 1930-1959,and one Indian 1955
I've been riding sence I could pull the start cord on 3 1/2hp engine(mini bikes-Go karts).
And all the touring bikes just dont look like or ride like what I was raised around.
Softail bikes still have it, the look the feel and the ride.
I love my Fat boy ,custom seat, windshield, mustach bar(built in HWY foot rests).
Its all there man "I really love it" I could have had the others like I said but they dont have the same feel.
To each their own I'm tring to sound commie I like what Harley Davidson's
started with,,, CLASSIC look and feel and it 's still there in the right model.
Try them both and make a choice.....this only depicts my view.

I have a Heritage, stepdad has a RK. I can ride the Heritage around town and split lanes and do light touring. He can ride that RK for thousands of miles, but not so good around town.

How can an RK not be good around town? It's what all the motor officers around here ride....they're on them all day....in town.....

Road King! You won't regret stepping up to the touring line. The ride is much smoother...

If you do alot of 2 up rent each bike and ride 2 up. Then figure out which one felt best. Also how big are the two of you? If you are really heavy most likely I would consider the Road king for its suspension and get the ABS brakes. I ride 2 up on my Fatty but the wife says after about 80 miles or so she has had enough (Im 225 and she is 150lbs).
