Who is running one of these and how do you like it. Was it worth the money? Can you really tell the difference in performance? How hard is it to install or would it just be best to let harley do it since they probably have the down loads.

I just installed a Power Commander this weekend to replace the V&H Fuelpak. My Fuelpak was working great but I had bought the PC when the Fuelpak was giving me problems. I have to say the difference is huge. I put the PC on with a custom map from Fuelmoto.com. The bike ran strong through all RPM's. I could really feel the difference in power and no popping on decel. I would definetely recommend the PC3 if you do any mods. The software is also very easy to use and you have complete details on all the settings and what they mean, unlike the Fuelpak. Install was easy for anyone who can take the seat off and plug in some cables.

Easy to install, just have to play with the cables to get them to lay down. Downloading the maps is straightforward as well.

Anyone read the article in V-Twin? They discused the fuel pack, SERT, PCIII and got into the closed loop system (great idea but not there yet).

The PCIII seems to be the best of the bunch as far as ease of use.

The PC is great .I played around with different downloads found on there website and the last one I used makes it run like a rocket. The front wheel on my 05 Deluxe comes off the ground when I powerhift into second.

mtrout....you went from the fuel pak to the PC... Was there a signifigant difference? Does the PC go into the same place the fuel pak does as far as installation?I have the fuel pak on a 06 Softail with 25 degree injectors..seems to run ok with 73 hp and 75 tq...but would like it to be a little crisper etc. and have been considering this as well.

I am running the pc3 on my 05 Fatboy. Had the dealer put it on the dyno to get everything just right. 75hp/85tq. I think that it would be easy to install and download maps but it should probably go to the dealer and dyno to really get it dialed in.
