[quote=dog155;6887969]Never,when at a half tank next stop filling station.quote]

Good advice. At my age I try not to miss an opporunity to fill the tank and empty the bladder.

My Ultra lights up less than a gallon. I agree, I hate running with less than a 1/2 tank, you just never know.
Buddy of mine has RKC and had troubles with his light. Had 1/2 a tank and the light would come on. Been back to the dealer 3 or 4 times, still happens. So now, he just keeps an eye on the trip meter.
As it was told to me, never trust the guage. Just keep tabs on the trip meter and you will be fine.

I reset the trip everytime I fill up. Once I get around 175- 180 miles, I refill.

yep! never have put more than 3.5 gal. in. Even though I know how far I can travel on a tank full, the little idiot light still makes me a bit nervous.
