Default springer drag bars

I have noticed that a lot of you with drag bars on your springers seem to use the factory risers. They look really good but I fear it will have me reaching down to much. Has anyone used the riser adapters and do they work well. Thinking about going with 6 inch risers and drag bars to get me about the same bar height as stock. For those of you that put them on the stock risers did you notice any comfort differences. I currenty have the factory bars that only come up a couple inches not the buckhorn style.

Go to" Customcycleengineering.com" they make"dawgbone" risers specifically for springers. They fill the bill for looks and function. J&P Cycles has them in their catalog on page 760, I think these are the 6" risers. Custom Cycle offers different riser sizes, but I found the 6" perfect to clear the gas tank.

I have the adapter on my Night Train. Mine is made by Paughco and I used the factory 6" risers with it.
