Default Risers for Drag Bars

Anyone make risers for the 1 1/4" drag bars? All I seem to find are risers for 1" bars. I know Harley has the curved pullback riser kits, but they run ~$170 for the 6" risers (56267-09). The only other options I think I have are the riser spacers or new bars. Anyone else found something I haven't?

You didn't say what size you wanted - these are Fat Bo Lo risers.

Most 1.25" drag bars taper to 1" on both ends and the center and cost $75 and up. Standard risers for 1" start around $60 and go up from there.

I'd go the cheaper route using tapered bars and 1" risers. If your experiences go like mine, you may be buying different risers and bars in no time. I've gone through two riser heights and three drag bars, then three T-bars before I finally got it right.

Without a tank lift you will need at least 5" tall risers and add an inch more rise per inch of tank lift to clear the throttle cables with flat drag bars.

Well the bars on my Fat Bob appear to be 1.25" in the middle as well. Right now it has 5" risers but I'd like something a little taller with some pullback. Couldn't find much in JP or Dennis Kirk. Just doing a google search didn't pull up much either. By the time I buy new bars and risers, I"m about the same price as the Harley 6" Pullback risers. Was just hoping to find a cheaper option, but I guess I should've known better since there is that HD label on the side of the bike.

After all of my experimenting, I ended up finally pleased with the Milwaukee Twins T-bars from J&P #500-883 with 8" rise and 7" pullback. My stock cables and wires were just the right length, I no longer had to hunch over to reach the bars and they were just more solid than the riser/drag combo.

Thanks HemiOrange, I think that may be the route that I go as well. I like the drag bar on my fat bob, but the gloss black risers don't match my Denim Black bike and I feel like I have to stretch too much to reach the controls. I hate to spend $170 on the Harley Risers only to get an inch more height and an inch more pullback. Good to hear that the stock cables/wires worked for your combo. I'm hoping for the same luck.

Thats why I bought these on ebay for $70 because they do not have the HD name on them. Then PC'd them black. These are 8" but they have different lengths.
