I have a 01 FXDL. I have buffalo drag bars on it with the stock risers. I'm wanting to put straight low profile risers on it now. Does anybody now how low i can go with the risers before i get into the tank when i turn the bars. I would lke to get some two's or three's on there. any help or ideas would be great.
Are your current risers straight up or do they have a pull back?
If the risers are straight (at least up to two inches from the tree) and you plan on using the same bars. Take some masking tape and wrap it around the bars at the clamp points and around the risers at the heights you are questioning. Then tape the bars to the risers (figure 8 the tape so nothing moves) on the front side at the heights in question. Put a towel on the tank and then slowly turn the bars (via the fork legs) in each direction and see where they stop in relation to the tank. Just remember that they will be about an 1" to an 1 1/2" closer when in the risers. Just an idea!!

Yeah, im going to use the same bars. The risers i have now have a pull back on them. I'll give that idea a shot. I'll just tape them right where they start to pull back. I just hate to order something only to find out it won't work. Thanks for the tip and help.
