I am thinking of swaping the polished fatboy wheels out for something differant. my question is what size to go with. I have seen all kinds of combinations for sale. Lets say a 21" front, does it make a noticable differance to the stance? What combo would would be a good choice?
Take your time. Wheels are expensive and a personal thing. imo 21" front looks good, on some bikes. Spokes are classic, but may require tubes. Some have bought tubeless spoked wheels, only to have problems later. Again, research and checkout the pics page:
If you want a 21" you will most likely need to raise your fender a bit to accommodate the taller rim regardless of the size of tire on it. I have a 21" on my ride and put on a Heritage fender. It was a direct bolt on. there are many choices for wheels. Take your time and figure out what style and size you want first then start pricing.
Once you know let me know and I can get you discounted pricing. Here i s a pic of my ride with a 21x3 front and a stock size rear. Yes, it is a fatboy too.

I could never get used to the stock disc wheels, and spent over three months comparing prices, quality, manufacturers reputation and overall appearance. Finally decided on RC Components 'Calypso' style - 18" diameter.
My second choice for a Fatboy or Deluxe would definitely be what Drew and other's chose - 52 spoked, 21" front/18" rear.
I can't stop drooling every time I see RC wheels on a bike. I love the spokes as well but dang those RCs are smokin. I just wish they weren't so expensive! I want! I want! I want!

As Kumaride said, a 21" front looks good on certain bikes. I'm not sure how well it would go with your current set up. Your 2-1 Big Radius says "power" and "aggressive". Spokes would definitely be out. Maybe an aggressive looking forged 18" up front would do the trick rather than a 21" which lend themselves to a cruising and slammed appearance. As others have said, take your time. The last thing you want is to pull the trigger on some new wheels and then second guess yourself after they're bolted up.
Once again, thanks for all the input. I think I'll start looking at the 18". Spokes look great but like your saying not on my bike. Those RC wheels on Nick's bike look great. That's the look that's right for me. Im not in any big rush to buy but at least now I have some direction.
