Default Road Glide Wheels

What Size and What Brand wheels do you recommend for a 2016 Road Glide.
I am upgrading my current RoadKing and going to buy a RoadGlide.
Looking for a nice setup for wheels.

Thought about 21" but then others say 23".

Any Recommendations would be great to get.

Thanks in advance

I would talk to HogPro. He is a vendor here on HD forum. As far as the size its a personal preference.
Renegade Wheels will allow you to do a payment plan if dropping a large sum is not in the budget. You put 40% down on the wheels and they will make and send you the wheels and you make 5 payments. They come mounted on either Avon or Metz tires, your choice.

But check with HogPro first.

Welcome from NC.

Depends on the style you're looking for, but +1 on HogPro.

Sinister is what I have and is a great quality brand with many styles. Mine are 21" front with 16" rear. The 21" is the max you can go and keep your OEM fender. You might need to lower the front also to keep the same height.

Also, check readily available tires for the size wheels you want.

21" is simple as all you need besides the wheel/tire is fender spacers to raise your stock fender. 23" requires new triple trees (we recommend HHI X23 trees) and a new fender so something to consider. I like the ride of both the 21" and 23" so just comes down to taste and budget. Give us a call at 818-886-6545 if you want more information on options.

If it was me I'd leave well enough alone. Stock Enforcers are hard to improve on, unless maybe you chromed them. No disrespect intended to Hogpro.

What I would be concerned about is 'how much difference there would be in panic stopping ability.'
It has been my personal experience that it is easier to lock-up a front wheel in a 21" size. I had a '14 FLHX and the 19" on it seemed more sure footed on braking hard. The more beefier tires on the RG seem to be a plus while giving a larger contact patch for better stopping or just braking power.
I realize it is your bike, but I'd think about this. FWIW
