Seriously, If you come from the land of metric you might be taken aback the first time you get on a Harley. I love the sound, the noise and vibrations! Its all part of the reason people buy 'em and love 'em - they're built like tanks with attitude and classic looks to top it off..
Don't let it scare you, it won't break or blow up. Just drive it like you stole it and enjoy your new scoot.
I have the lo and have a few problems getting it into neutral after it gets hot,I'm getting my 1k service in a couple weeks, I'm told it will run a lot smoother and shift easier afterwards,my sporty did when I had it after getting the 1k service,my beast has just over 700 miles.

Have just short of 30,000 on my 06 Heritage and it can still be a pain to find neutral. But the Metrics I road before just fell into neutral even had it drop in between shifts if I was too gental with it.
I changed out the Air cleaner and put on SE slipons and that really woke my bike up.
Yea i love the feel and sounds of the motor just got nerves going after spending all that money on a bike.
