Drew here's my method: Lean the bike slightly to the right. With your left heel pull up on the edge of the floor board for a little extra clearance then drop the foot down to raise the side stand. Becomes second nature after a few rides.

Thanks. I have a 1" lowered kickstand from a Cross bones which is what makes it difficult. Not too bad, but takes a little more thought than before.
I just took a nice spin. I was able to ride without scraping them yet, a miracle in the canyons.
Everyone say a prayer fro my 95 y/o grandfather who is in ICU at the hospital. 2 heart attacks in 4 days. I'm heading down to San Diego to see him now. I must have a chance to say goodbye.
Awesome looking boards on a sweet scoot. The length allows alot of foot positioning so you can have the feet mid - forward - nice!
Hope gramps is fairing well. My wife's 96-yr-old grandma keeps taking nasty spills and recently broke her arm so she's laid-up for a bit. Funny, she's been doing something crazy every year since her 90th birthday (from water tubing, 90mph m/c ride, air balloon, etc.) - gotta love it. Gues we'll need to tame it down a bit this year. Praying for your grandpa - hope he's doing better!
