Never Again
A little tip on the connectors.I use small pop rivet 1/8" I think with the head pinched so it doesn't slide to unlock the plugs. After you get the hang of it this becomes a non issue.Usually only takes me less than a minute to undo the large plugs.Took a couple of tries but once the old man showed me I got it.G.
I admit, my last bar change was at a dealer because I was going out of town and it was easier for me at the time. But, everything done to my bike besides that one time was all me. One day or one week, I don't care, I will do it. And I have a decent case of sausage fingers myself.
I put streetslammers on my fatboy. The connectors were tedious, but if I were to do it again I could do it in alot less time. If you already did the bars and wiring the hard part is done, the cables will be a piece of cake compared to that. I sometimes get a little overwhelmed with some of the projects I start on my bike, but when its finished and I look at what I did, I'm always glad I did it myself. I figure that's the only way I'll learn.
