Default Different air filter

I recently bought an 86 FXST, with an S&S carb. I am short, 5' 7" and the air filter hits me just below the knee, causing me to ride with my leg in an uncomfortable position. Any ideas on a different air filter, or am I just an old Wuss?

Thanks for any input.

Any help, please? Does anyone make a velocity stack that incorporates some sort of air filtration?

Can't help you on the air cleaner. I'm running a K&N under the stock cover on my 86 FXSTC.
Have you thought about a slightly longer rider peg? Might allow you to ride without hitting the air cleaner.
I ran the inch longer Harley pegs before putting Kuryakyn pegs on.
I'm 5'8".

Thanks, for the replies, folks. Looked at the Wimmer products and think I am loving them. Hope I am smart enough to put one together.
