Has anyone installed the rear fender leather mud flap on a 2006 heritage? I received the kit as a gift but when I went to install it I noticed that the hole for the running light wires was not in the correct place on the mud flap. Any ideas?

 

Drill a new hole?

 

That's my plan. I am going to drill a new hole in the mud flap and slit it to accomodate the wire. I just thought maybe someone had run into this problem before and had some other ideas. Thanks!

 

must be different on my 07,, don't remember having to drill or cut new hole..

 

I have an 07 and the mud flap I purchased I returned because I had to drill holes.
