Storage for Heritage Softail
I did my first commute to work on the bike today
. Would have done it sooner but south Florida weather has been pretty bad over the last week or so.
Question to the forum: Does anyone have any recommendations for storage for my bike? I'd like something that can be quickly detached from the bike and will hold a few items. I packed my saddle bags today and barely got everything in there around the stuff I always carry (rain gear, bubble face shield). Adding to the problem is the fact that I have to wear a suit and tie to work. The jacket(s) stay on the back of my door so I just wear a t-shirt with my nice shirt and tie stowed away. Crunching everything into the saddle bags didn't help with wrinkles in my shirt [:@].
Suggestions?
Thanks,

I know they make a storage compartment that goes on the back and matches the heritage look. Sure they have a detachable system for this also. Plus you can buy a unit that straps on to your passenger back rest for around 179 at harley that would probably do the job. Hope this helps.
A Biker's Friend or Lazy Rider would probably do the trick. They sit on the passenger seat and have bungee's that strap to the turn signals. I've seen them at about $175. Nice thing about these is they take less than a minute to put on or take off. If you go this route, make sure you get the right size. A larger one might push you too forward in the seat.
