Congrats and welcome to the softail section! I advise a full system as well as if you are anything like me after a month or two you will change your mind. Take your time deciding so you only have to do it once. TTS is a great tuner as well. If you want discounted forum pricing on parts PM me for pricing please or call the shop.

Thanks!

Drew

Thanks.
Congrats on the new ride. What made you go from the Road King to the Softail? Seems most go the other way?

I have a neck injury from years ago and never could get real comfortable on the RK. I previous to that had a Wide Glide, perfect fit for me, but lowered, etc. and a hard ride.

So, FXSTC is really a Softail version of an old Wide Glide I feel. Love the FXSTC seat, bars, and forward controls. Plus the ride is smooth, nice. Thanks.

Welcome to the Softail Family. We definitely NEED PICS !!
i like the thought of a LACED Rear Wheel, (200mm)? Was this stock or did you or dealer add? Regarding the pipes it is a matter of personal preference. I choose the V&H short shots for my '08 FXSTC.

Let us know why the switch from RK to FXSTC ? Riding Style Changes?

Enjoy the Ride and Ride Safe.

The Doctor is right, take your time before you decide to buy slip-ons. You would be happier with a full exhaust system. No sense in putting out money then changing later...

Hi all, just to repeat above as some have asked why I changed from a RK. And yes, pics to come soon. Tks.

Congrats on the new bike. Plenty of choices on exhaust out there.
I went with the SE slash cut slip-ons for my Rocker and I'm happy.
Just take your time deciding. It's less costly buying once.
