Anybody know if the SnS slip ons sound better than the screaming eagles and if that carb and slip on kit is worth the 500 bones? The claim at least 10 ponies more.

The S&S slip ons have a deeper sound to them than the S.E.s If you look through the SEs there is some type of bulb looking baffle inside the pipe. S&S are straight through. I had them installed with the Stage one filter kit and the map upload. I saw a noticeable difference in performance, never had it on a dyno.

 

Thanks blackberet3. When you say deeper sound do you also mean louder as well. Thanks for that info. Do you like them over other brands you may have checked out before you went with the S&S.

 

Yep, deeper and slightly louder. The only others that I checked out were the SEs. The straight through design is what sold me.

I got SnS slipons + SE stage 1 + download...

VERY happy with sound and performance. 10x louder then original pipes.. i got a ticker here in BC for loud pipes the side road test said i was at 121 Decibels limit being 98...

so illegal here in BC if loud is what u are looking for then loud the slip ons are...

Still very happy with purchase highly recommend them and the bike looks great!
