Anyone have a sound clip of CFR slip ons? Any opinion on them?

Do a search. Haven't heard and don't have a clip. However, the people who have posted about them rave about the sound. I do think however they are on the louder side.

I have CFRs on my 08 SG I love the look and the sound... But they can't be tuned for performence according to a respected mechanic in the Seattle area they don't have enough back pressure . I did read somewhere that you could put baffels in them and that helps .I am not a mechanic this what I was told by a mechanic doing Dyno tune on my bike.

I heard more or less the same. They are very open pipes as it was put to me.Probably why Cary developed the dual headers for them.My cfr headers are smaller in diameter than other headers i have seen. They are also straight back with no angles like the stock HD header(look like stock w/o crossover).I will tell you that i suffer no performance loss.I did install the pcv once i did the headers. Also when i first got the cfr slipons i was debating dual headers from possible V&H.A couple of forum members here really helped me to not get the dual headers because they recommend to use the slipons w/the stock headers because of the tuning problem. They also had the cfr's.Anyhow once i found out that cfr finally made the headers i went and took a chance.Glad i did.very happy camper here.

I'll have answers as to whether the CFRs can be dialed in for performance or not by this time tomorrow. My bike goes on the dyno tomorrow.
