I have the CFR Slip-ons and I love them, always get good comments from guys who hear them for the first time. Jamie has my PC pretty well dialed in with the CFR's. Will be curious to hear if dyno shop can dial in.
A friend of mine has the CFR's and they have a sound of their own. Like a 350 small block maybe :-) they do sound good, ............BUT!!! the chrome is coming off of his and they are only three months old. He's pissed. He hasn't called the company yet, but I would say they will replace them. Anyone else had this problem?

I ran the cfr slipons for a cpl of weeks b4 i got the dual headers from cfr.Once i got the headers i recieved the pcv from fuelmoto.Bike runs great already put about 1000 miles with the new headers. No dyno.
98 TQ and 88 HP. Not miracle numbers, but not too shabby either. It's a blast to ride and I have a grin from ear to ear. The CFRs sound a bit better and better gas mileage to boot now. The tuner does not like the VH Power Dual header. He said that he has done a few bikes with the PD and they are too restrictive. He never complained about the CFRs, he did compliment them though (looks and sound). LOL He also said the usual, better numbers with a good 2-1 pipe, but he also would have like to seen true duals (w/ the CFRs) instead of the Power Duals, go figure?
How do the volume on the CFRs compare to say Rineharts? Any problem hearing your radio at highway speed?
I have a buddy who rides a SG,when i'm next to him i can hear his tunes. But when he gets behind me he says he has to turn it up.But i have duals which make them a little louder.Either way i dont think you as the rider would have a real problem with the tunes. He has Rienhart slipons on his and mine are louder. They are louder for those around me than they are for me as the rider. They are not obnoxiously loud if thats a consideration.
Sounds like the CFRs might work. I had ThunderCones (they were loud, no one wanted to ride behind me) and I lost bottom end due to them being too free flowing, so I put my SE IIs (65115-98B) back on. I want a deep sound and not loose my bottom end.
