Default Need Advise From Riders w/ Apes

I'm changing from stock bars and windshield on my Heritage to no windshield and apes. I'm looking for advise on googles or sunglasses, jackets, helmets, ect. that work good while you're layed out. My Oakley's don't cut it when I ride w/out my windshield. I'm not scared to throw some coin at a good product. Throw any advise my way that could help me during this change of riding style. Any other Ape experience is also welcomed. Thanx

I like the Wiley X Airrage myself. I'd try on several pairs and see which fit you best, as there's a lot of different frames.
I've got the XL1's right now and while they're fine, they don't fit me like the Airrage's did.

I got a cheap pair from Stroker's Dallas and a skull cap helmet. The other helments catch to much wind and act like a parachute.

My Oakley's suite me fine, I do have a pair of ESS Advancer googles though for icliment weather. They have hinges in them so you can change the "venting" of the lenses. Keeps them from fogging up.

I like the Wiley-x SG1's they have held up well for me, and I switched to a 3/4 quarter open face from fulmer (Easyrider). The half helmet always felt like it was gonna fly off my head.

30 bucks for soho's at the local hD SHOP. Last me about a year before the seals start pealing. I put about 15000 a year on the scooter. You may want goggles for night or get amber lenses for the sohos.. just my 2 cents

I wear Chrome Hearts sunglasses not made for a bike even. Erector is the model. Got them cheap on EBay. ACC used to be DOT helmet is my choice, but Fulmer V2 when it is cold. When it is dark I wear Wiley X's too. Got them cheap at Sportsmens Guide. My eyes are not too sensistive and I do not wear contacts...yet!

A buddy of mine got some really nice goggles for road trips, but I cannot remember the manufacturer.

LOL.
