Just wanted to let everyone know what great service I received from the guys at Dr. V-Twin.
I wanted to get my dad a primary cover for his birthday, since his on the old 97 FLSTC was pretty badly pitted and had chrome peeling off. Problem was I waited too long to order it, and all of the usual online sources couldn't get it there in time for his birthday. So I decided to PM Drew on Thursday and see what he could do.
Within minutes, I had a call from Drew and he put the wheels in motion-- getting the cover, chrome bolts and gasket together-- all for less than any price I saw online. Shawn called me the next day with an update and end of story-- dad received the FedEx about an hour ago today on his birthday. He's a very happy guy and getting the bike up on the jack as I write this. Yeah, the shipping killed me, but that was my fault.
This sort of customer service has become so unusual these days, but the guys at Dr. V-Twin know how to make a customer for life. Thanks again Drew and Shawn-- I really appreciate you going out of your way to make this happen. I'll be ordering again from you very soon.
thanks for your order. We believe that customer service is just as important as having low prices in today's global economy. If anyone else needs something let me know.
Dr V Twin took me for a -$250.00 ride. On 7/23/09 I purchased a biketronics complete retro audio kit for 899.00 and the hogtunes tweeter for 100.00. The radio was substandard as it would not pick up radio signals as well as my stock radio and the lights would go out after about 20 minutes riding. I returned this to Biketroncis and Dr. vtwin never followed through with the paperwork for the refund. A few months later after visiting with Biketronics I was told these radios were put together with sub standard parts at the end of the season. This has now been corrected. Finally drvtwin refunded me 325.00 dollars. I did keep the speakers when purchased separately would total less than $425.00. So out of the $1000. I spent I was taken for a -$250.00 ride. My invoice number was 5551176 and Donna at Biketroncis said her refund was done and sent to drvtwin on the Sony CDX-gt630ui radio and the titan 2 channel amp BT-454. My phone calls to Dave were never returned. 806-494-1995 Pete Fischer

Mr. Fischer,
I apologize for this, however we credited back exactly what was credited back to us by Biketronics after shipping and restocking fees were taken into account by Biketronics. I will look into this further, but I was told the appropriate amount was credited back to you. I was under the impression this was taken care of last year.
Shawn:
I returned the radio to biketroncis twice. These were defective units. I paid to ship the units back. It was decided that I was due a refund and anyway I add it up I am out $250.00. When I called last time which was the 2nd or 3rd call I had made I was told I would be contacted when you came back into town. So I am getting charged $250. for restocking defective parts? You received over $1000.00 from me and with the less than $400.00 speakers that I kept and the $325. that was returned how satisfied would you be if it happened to you?

Pete,
I will take care of this for you. Again, I apologize as I believe it was miscommunication between Biketronics and our company.
