The seat-to-fender gap was too much for me......looked like a boober seat on a stretched chopper.....too cobbled for me.
Went with the Danny Gray Work Solo seat, moved the license plate to the former left rear footpeg hole, removed the tank badges, bondoed and repainted the tank, and lifted the tank 2 inches. Really sleekens the look and puts everyting in a flowing line.
Love the rocker rear fender look. That's what drew me to my first Harley.
IMO, the best thing about the Rocker is that you can go lots of different directions with it.
I think there are some extremely SICK Rockers on this forum with Heartland kits, DG and others. So, I'm definitely not "anti" anything. Once in a while I look at mine and wish I had gone down some of these other paths.

hope I don't offend anyone talking $ but to the guys who did do the Heartland Conversion Kit, which I personally think looks bad ***, what did you pay total for the kit and installation?
You know what they say about opinions! Yeah, and everybody's got one. I see a lot of folks on here want a heartland kit but are not pleased with the price. Me? I don't care if they were giving them away. It aint going on mine! that would defeat the purpose in my purchase. Sure, I would take a free heartland kit in a second and have it on e bay the next. Do I think the Rocker looks good with the heartland conversion? Sure do! Just not what I'm after. I got what I was after 6 months after I ordered mine, and took delivery Jan 16th 08 I believe.
i'm rocking the rear too, don't understand why that heartland kit is so popular! different tastes i guess.....end of the day everyone chooses their way
I see all these Rockers with aftermarket seats. where are all the stock seats for sale? i been needing one for a custom prject i am doing. i need the whole thing, passenger included. never find them for sale, and i aint buyin one on ebay, those jokers want as much as anew aftermarket for the stock one.
