Just had Samson Longtails exhausts installed on my 09 Deluxe and now I get bad decel popping. Does anyone have the same problem after installing longtails and what you did you do to stop it? I run high flow filter and SERT and the stealer says only way to get the right mixture is on a Dyno. I notice a lot of you Deluxe guys running these fishtails so there must be a solution
If you've ever run fishtails you know there gonna pop on decel. You might be able to minimize it but its gonna pop. that what makes fishtails so badass. I love the sound. well good luck and welcome to the family.

I would have to DISAGREE with that comment. As i have no decel popping.
You may want to get a PC-V for your bike or something simular. When i first installed my pipes/intake/PC-V i had some decel popping. Which i couldn't stand to hear. So i then called Fuel Moto and they walked me through my PC-V map and had me do some adjustments to some of my throttle response numbers which cured my decel popping. So i have no popping now....Thanx to Fuel Moto......

@LoLo - a few of my friends have commented on how cool the popping is!
But like BLKnCHRME09Deluxe it's starting to annoy me!! Did FuelMoto have a specific map for your pipes BLKnCHRME09Deluxe? Do you use autotune with your PC-V?
Thanks mate
If you have baffles it really should not pop. The unbaffled version like I had had a wicked decel sound.
Drew
I made sure I got the baffled version as the cops around here don't even have to pull you over for noisy pipes to book you, you just get a bloody letter in the mail!!!
Are the pipes leaking at the connection on the left side? Look at it real close at every juncture. I cured my decel popping by stopping my exhaust leaks.

I'm sure I've tightened all connections, but I'll certainly double check. Thanks for the tip.
