I gues im not seing this other tab I have to push down. Is the flap that pulls out this same tab? It snaps into place and is attached by a thin bendable plastic attached to the connector. I didnt see a tab inside the connector....
Guess ill have to try again. I was getting so frusterrated ahah
Im trying to get these wires out righ now and I still cant get them out. AND im at work too ahhaah, how small does the "pryer" have to be. when you put the pick on top of the metal part of the wire it looks like there is room above it. Mine a tight against the plastic.......
So now that I got the gaugues out and off my tank, I went a head and dissmantled the gauge. The clear viewing window was very scratched, so I decided to twist the cap and move the veiwing window to some clean plastic. It is not possible to move the plastic under the cap without removing the whole houseing. Here is what I did. I also painted both caps (fuel cap and gauge). So this is what the inside of the gauge looks like. Put it back together and its works like it did but just looks better!
