Odometer Issue
I recently changed the battery in my 2007 Softail Custom and now my odometer isnt reading out. The backlight illuminates but the numbers are not reading out. Has anyone had this issue or know how to fix it? I checked the fuses and they are all OK. Thanks

Hmmm....what was going on before you changed your battery? Have you started and run the bike? Have you had the center dash off? Have you touched anything else or changed anything else while replacing the battery?

See if your speedo passes the WOW test by watching the speed dial. If your LCD doesn't come up for that but the speed dial flips from low to high and back, then you might have done something to kill the LCD or it's just coincidence. Either way, the most economical solution, assuming that the bike is running fine and nothing else is awry, is to borrow a speedo, hook it up, and see if it is working. If it is, welcome to my world and buy a new $400 speedo courtesy of HD engineering... been there, done that.
