Default looking for luggage

I have a2001 softail deuce and I am looking for some input on luggage? With the deuce it is nearly impossible for saddle bags so I am looking at some luggage to strap on the seat/sissy bar/ luggage rack. What kind of setups do you use? Seat only, sissy bar, sissy bar with luggage rack, handlebar bags etc. , tbags, roll bags. I am planning on doing some trips 7-10 days with possibly some camping. thanks

I used a sissy bar and luggage rack with a t-bag. Got tired of that and built a trailer hitch and trailer. Had to build the hitch cause no one made one for my '07 softail.

In the past I would use a good back pack strapped on the sissy bar with a duffel as a backrest didn't look like a cruiser biker cover shot but they held a bunch of stuff and I could put the pack on my back and grab the duffel at stops.

Check out tbags...they have a small bags that sits on the fender and doesn't require a sissy bar. I'm thinking of getting for my heritage classic.

I have a T-bags Lonestar sissy bar bag. It's nice and roomy, buy the zippers on it suck. They're small and always have them miss zipping it back up around the bend of the top of the bag. not worth the price.

Default Check out bikebandit.com for screamin' deals

I just bought the Fieldsheer MotoTrunk for $79.00! and it was at my home in 3 days.
It breaks down into a smaller bag if needed. Nice looks also!

I have put many miles leaning up against a kuryakin grand tour. Used the sissy bar to tie it to cause it does not shift as bad as the leather underseat option. Does not take much to hold it so the deuce sissy bar will work. Had mine tied to a short (even shorter than the deuce sissy bar) victory vegas sissy bar. If you have the luggage rack, just lay your tent across it and a chair. There you go. The adjustable lumbar support on the grand tour is nice.
