Question Deluxe Rear Fender Trim
Just had to replace the lower rear fender tip on my 07 Deluxe, I was shocked at the $42 price for a piece of silver plastic, but nothing else in the box. Does anyone know how they are attached to the fender, there are plastic protrusions that goes through the holes in the fender on the back of the fender tip, but what attaches to these protrusions to keep it attached to the metal fender.

Flat spring clips that press over the plastic nipples. Seems they should've been in the box but who knows. May have to get them from your dealer. Prolly another $47 lol.

Better to have plastic trim than a whole plastic fender like the jap bikes. My $.02
