Steelpony and Wildman......Grazzi for the complemente.....I paid $888 and bought through my local H-D Dealer to get my 10% off. Haven't found anyone who sells them any cheaper. Pretty much have to go direct through http://www.bossbags.com. If you get a discount for being a HOG member from your dealer, go that route and save a bit. The bags come with a sample size dressing that has a black pigment in it to keep them looking black and conditions them. I will most likely use a saddle soap and leather conditioner along with the stuff they sent. Got to use them last night for the first time and they fit a "Harley" half helmet in each side plus a jacket and room for more.
JonnyD, Great looking bags! I'll be ordering a set myself in a couple of weeks. I have a question for you though, Do you run with
the detachable sissybar? The reason I ask is I was wondering how close the bags mount to the fender without the sissybar?
great looking bags! is anything extra left on the bike when you take them off?
Also, what set up are you using for the pass. foot boards. I have the same kind of exaust set-up, been trying to find the right mounts.
