Are there any of you out there who have ran or are running the HD Fat Boy seat # 51560-00A. That is the one with rider back rest. All the softtail versions of this seem to be the same so any input would be great.... is it a good long mileage seat, does it push you forward, backward? Is it worth the money as opposed to the stock seat?
Thanks!
Dunno what year yours is... But as far as I'm concerned ALL FB seats suck! Hard as a rock... The guy I bought my 92 from put on Heritage seats. Then for some reason the base on my seat spilt from tab to tab (maybe I'm too fat?) Dunno... I put on the regular seats for a spell till I could score a new seat. MAN that was some crappy seating! Wife even commented on how hard the p-pad was, too! When I was single I looked into ones with the back rest. Lots to choose from. Wife makes for nice back rests now...
I bought a Mustang seat for mine. Best money I've spent on the bike, bar none. I'll never own another bike without one.
I second that motion. Mustang seat with rider backrest and a set of Heritage bars made my Fat Boy so much more comfortable. And that mangy *** rear wheel in my pic is on the way out. Ordered a matching RC Components "Wicked" to match the front one.
