Default Fatboy Wheels

I'm looking at doing some upgrades to my 2003 fatboy. I was wondering if anyone has changed out just the front wheel for a custom wheel and left the back wheel. Not sure how it will look but I would love to see some pics if anyone has done this.

I did this for a little while. I found a smoking deal on a new PM Torque front wheel, but the back was not available. About six weeks later I saved up enough to pay full price for the rear wheel. Personally, I don't think it looks right w/o both of them. Do it all at once, or keep saving until you can afford both. It really looks as though you ran out of money.......like I did.

We have a lot of our people buy front wheels from us and then leave the stock rear wheel. It's a solid wheel so it works pretty well and some of them just have their rear wheel chromed too to make it match better. Most of the time they do a 5 or 7 spoke style of front wheel with the solid rear wheel. It looks pretty good.

I ran my fat spoke wheel on the front and the solid on the rear for 2 weeks. All my friends could ask was when i was going to put the rear wheel on. I even had the full chrome wheel on the rear.

I thought it looked fine, but it looks much better with matching wheels, especially on a bike where you can see the wheel.

I kept my rear solid wheel and got a HD five spoke for the front.
I like it,, and the front has some flat black paint on the inside of the spokes to compliment the rear,

I saw a guy with chrome solid rear wheel and a chrome big spoke wheel on the front. I thought it looked awesome.

Thanks for everyone's opinion. I would still like to see more pics. Also I have decided to work towards putting hard bags on and having them painted to match my gunmetal blue paint. With the hard bags I don't think that you'll really be able to see much of the back wheel anyway.

When I had my '93 Sportster I ran a highly polished FatBoy rear wheel and a HD LightningStar front wheel.

When I need tires on my '02 Heritage I plan on putting a chrome solid rear wheel on it and a LightningStar or ThunderStar front wheel. Especially if you have bags, the rear wheel's not that noticeable anyway.

I wanna run tubeless!
