i was thinking about getting the harley black dimond grips i wonder if they will match the fatboy lo i have the vivid black everything about me is fashion lol i like the black levers to thank you people kojax
The black diamond stuff looks good on any blacked out bike. The problem I have with those grips is that they are skinnier than stock (thus why I went with the PM Contour XL grips, which are fatter than stock). Larger OD grip means less twisting for the same amount of throttle opening.
at first I had all the black tribal stuff on the bike, but took it all off and replaced them with the black diamond collection. the worn look of aluminum came out great against the matte and glossy accessories of the bike.
Kojax is right though, they are skinnier than stock, and get super HOTTT in the summer. Kury came out with an awesome black grip, I will be ordering them next week.
look at the Roland Sands Design Chrome Tracker Grips. I think they look much better than the black diamond collection, although they are a tad bit more expensive. I hear they feel better than the black diamond Harely grips as well.
I just took all the black diamond stuff off my Lo. I have the grips, rear pegs, rear brake pedal and both heel / toe shift pegs for sale if you want them shoot me a PM.
I've got the whole set up and I really like the look. I live in So Cal and haven't had any issues with them beign too hot for me. But I do usually wear half gloves.
Mine got hot as all get out the other day. I'll try to keep it in the shade from now on. Didn't take too long to cool down but they were HOT.
86 days above 90' and counting.
I have them on my crossbones, as well as the brake pedal, shifter pegs, rider and passenger pegs. With the black billet foot controls and black levers, it all looks awesome....
