Default break light

i have a 94 fatboy. when i apply the front break the breaklight comes on but will not go off unless i jiggle it around. any suggestions?

Either the switch in the housing is sticking or the lever needs a little lubricant. I would try some WD-40 or an equivalent on the lever at where the pin goes thru and on the switch itself in the housing. Just take the two bolts out and open up the housing. You will need to take the bolts off that hold the front master cylinder off also. Be sure to put a towel over your gas tank and fender so as not to scratch your paint if you drop something.
