The other way (that a couple of guys on these forums have done) is to go with aftermarket coils/coil mount, but that still leaves that stupid dangling key. My ideal solution would be some kind of chrome/billet mount and cover, and to replace the key with a three position switch, but I haven't seen that done and neither my dealer or my indy have any ideas. So anyway, still thinking about that one.

Hotwire - I didn't have any parts chromed myself. I attempted to have my wheels/rotors/pulley chromed by a semi-reputable chromer, but the quality was no where near the Harley chrome so I paid the restocking and went with the Harley chrome. Anyway, all those part numbers (like for the swingarm and oil bag) are for the chrome versions fro Harley.

Here is what I did with mine, It is a V-Rod horn cover with a regular HD switch. No key needed unless I lock it.

That looks great. what are the part numbers you need to get that done? That looks like my next mod on my Rocker.

I got the parts off e-bay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HARLE...Q5fAccessories

I used 1 inch flat bar steel for the bracket and a big washer to bolt the switch to the cover.

Look on e-bay for other color horn covers.

Very nice work, and I have to say sometimes little things make a huge difference. I think that the 2 inch tank lift really changes the look really cool.

Can someone explain a "tank lift" to me? I mean, other than the obvious.
