01 injected softtail no spark, HELP!!
new here guys, i know how much forums have helped me with mustang issues so thought id give this a try.
problem: have a 01 softail standard injected. whole bike was dissasembled and powder coated, im talking frame, tins, engine cases you name it. rebuilt it. now we have it all back together, thought it was ready to run, but wouldnt fire, looked into some stuff and found no spark. got my meter out and started back probing. im gettin 8volts to the coil. no signals, back probed the kill switch and it had polarity, ran polarity on the crank sensor and seems to be picking up signals, before someone asks yes i cleaned up were the grounds are underneith the seat, and up by the voltage regulator... one thing im wondering does the three stator black wires plug out matter?? may have accidently switched a few when i marked them. does anyone else have ideas, also starter has a hard time turning over with plugs in. ive tryed a couple batteries, including jumping off a car.
