Yep, my fish tails go 1.5" past the fender. Thats strange..

You can move the pipes further on or off the head pipes and that is what that extra 1.5" is guys. If you want them to be even with the rear fender use a block of wood and a rubber mallet to put them further on the head pipes.

Here is what 39" Cholo's look like with the stock Heritage bags on...I don't think any exhaust fumes will tarnish the leather on the bags

36" would be a safe length since our Cholo bike bags are mounted more rearward. if you mount them farther rearward like we did then you would need the 39".

Well us folks back east here in the mid central don't use them..Haven't seen even one in the last 5 yrs with them..

Seem like its a CALA thing.... then U want to go bout 2-3 feet past the rear fender...
