Well I decided to take off my quick detach windshield today for the first time to give everything a good cleaning. Pulled up the tabs and it wouldn't budge. Then I noticed that there is a nut snugging up the post where the tab goes - one on each side. I losened these and VOILA, the windshield came right off. The silly question is; do the nuts need to be so tight that the windshield won't come off without losening them? Still, I don't want them to fall out or have the windshield blow off. I tightened them back up but was curious as to what you do with yours? Thanks.
