If I had to pick,, I'd just go 95"" tons of them around and she'll run great and last...
without spending a ton of $$$$.
I agree. You can build a 95 inch motor that will produce 100/100 type numbers that is very reliable and easy to ride. I really don't see the extra $$ it will cost to go to a 103. I went with T-Man Performance components because they produce what he says. His website has alot of dyno charts with different combonations to give you an idea. http://www.tmanperformance.com/index.html
However you go talk to the builder as much as it takes to understand what you want, how much $$, and what is realistic. Let us know how it works out.
i went 95" and andrews 37 cams!! goes good!!
i here those woods cams are pretty good!
one thing i should of done is spend the extra and gone gear drive cams, i should of done that and never think about cam tensioners again!
I would stick with the 95. If you do decide to open up the bottom end the options from there open up quite a bit. You are not limited to the 103. Talk to a builder, get parts that complement each other and you will be happy.
Part of my decision is done. I'll go with a 95". Decided I don't want to spend the extra for more cubes. I'll do as suggested from here and pick the cams next. thanks guys and more opinions still appreciated
