Default Tire questions

I am looking to replace the stock tires on my 2007 softail standard with some Metzelers, specifically the 210/50 ZR 17 M/C (78W) TL rear and 90/90 - 21 M/C 54H TL front. I have quite a few questions I just can't seem to find answers to:

Metzeler also offers a MH90-21 M/C54HTL front tire. Whats the difference then the one I mentioned above?

Would the combination I listed above be OK for two-up riding? The bike is basically stock, and my wife and I are probably on the better side of 400 lbs. We'd mostly be doing short rides, but a longer ride would not be out of the question.

To confirm what I've read, the 210 rear can straight swap for the existing tire, correct? Same with the front tires also mentioned?

Are the Metzelers really worth the switch over stock Dunlops? (in your opinion, of course)

Where is the best place to buy these tires online?

Thanks all.

One is a 90/90, and the other is 80/90. Bookmark this for future reference.

Only my two cents wirth but personally wouldn't recommend the 401, Ii fitted them after my first set of 407s, but when it started to go off it became far less stable than the original 407s I had on my fatboy. I can only attribute that to the 'touring profile' which doesn't like white lines or cats eyes. I have now fitted a new set of 407s and they make a big difference. We have pretty gnarly roads here in Australia and the Dunlops wear better in these conditions than the softer metzler - might be different if you have great smooth roads.

So is there a significant difference in size appearance between the the 200/55/17 or 210/50/17 Metz? The 200 seems to be cheaper, but I like the fact that the 210 is slightly bigger.

And where should I look to buy tires online? It's tough to convince my wallet to purchase tires through the stealership rather than find them myself.

210 is 3/4 in shorter and 1/4 wider.
