I'm still going to see about lowering it just a tad more. Perhaps go with the bolts after all. There's no WAY I'm spending $1500 on air ride. The divorce that would result would cost me a LOT more than that.
JY it does have lowering bolts in it. You can lower it as far as it will go. I only had it at 1.25/1.5 ..... If you did not change it then its still the same. I never adjusted the pre load so give it a wirl man. Good Luck!
saint where ya been, if you could do me a favor and send me some pics or post in the train pic thread of wut you did to the second seat sissy bar...i want to make the bar taller like you did...did you gusset it so it wasnt weak where it was welded or???........................thanx..........jy make sure the nut on the shock is on the end of the treads for more drop, remember the longer the shock the more drop
did you read the wish book on that, nothing hd sells drops it 2 inches ther 99 dollar lowering bolt only go 1 inch ....there shocks say 1 inch, will not lower deluxe cuz its already lowerd 1 inch....read before ya buy
yep, mayyyyybe 1". If I remember right, when I was putting mine on, it was more like 3/4" drop. It's been awhile though.
