I put an on/off push switch (exactly like the one you have to reset the odometer) next to my left thumb. I wired the so they only go on with the low beams, that way when I switch to high beams the spots shut off (patrol car-like) the light moves from the spots to the front lamp and back.
Mimo.
Check it out:
Small pic but you can see the switch on the left grip right next to the turn signal button.
Wired mine up with a relay. They can be on with hi and low beam...
...Wonder if their is much diff between a 35 and 50w.
Mine is also wired with a relay so they are on no matter what, and I'm not overloading any fuses. I also have the 50w in mine, there is a pretty noticeable difference between the two. I sell 100w lamps too, but have not tried them yet...

I have the same push button because there isn't any place to put the toggle switch on my springer
I leave the "running lights" on all the time and upgraded to the $139 Harley halogen head light. I like the light array with all three lights. Now I'm looking for leds for the front turn signals. Any suggestions?

Custom Dynamics, I have an entire set (4 lights with load equalizer n' all), I've not put them on because I forgot they were there in my bike room, thaks for the reminder
Don't wanna start something, but everyone seems to want to be seen.
But what's the first mod everyone makes??????
Taking off the reflectors (which by the way, are required by law).
LOL, I was waiting for somebody to point that out. BTW, reflectors are not required by law, at least not here in Colorado. In fact we don't even need a headlight during daytime here. I usually only turn mine on at night, though I really should get in the habit of running it during the day.
I wired mine to be always on, on my previous 95 'n. AND I made some beveled washers installed them under the lamp mounts so that they pointed lower ON THE ROAD
