There should be an answer for this problem (Other than just slowing down) I ride on a really twisty highway with lots of sharp curves. I hate scraping my floor boards...
What about some kind of small tilt/lean indicator? With something like that installed we could keep an eye on just how much we're able to lean into a corner without scraping the crap outta our expensive chrome floor boards!
So for U guys that ride hard and fast U Really think Ur going to take U Eyes off the road to look at a gauge on the bars somewhere that tells U how much Ur leaning while going through a corner at 50mph...

So I take it you have allready adjusted your shocks up then.
My friend keeps scraping his boards on his new 2012 fatboy lo and was worried there was something wrong with it, sounds very common. On another note my fxst is lowered in the back and I have scraped my pipes a few times now and have been concerned about it lifting the rear enough to loose traction, should I be worried?

I love throwing up the sparks! Scrape away and have fun. As long as you don't hit the frame. I did that on my last bike. But my boards are torn apart on both sides. And I ride like a normal person...
If the floorboards scrape, no problem. They are going to move and are a warning that you are just about to get into problems and run out of lean angle. It is when the hard parts start scraping, like the exhaust or the frame, that you can get into trouble. My Night Train had been lowered way down when I got it and the first corner I went into fast there were sparks flying all over the place. I looked underneathe and I had already worn all the paint off the frame on the left side. Scary, I raised the bike back up to stock height immediately. No problem since.
