As a police officer, I am SHOCKED at this. NO REPORT?!?!? We do reports for EVERYTHING. Your accident would have had: a sergeant on scene, an ambulance and a WHOPPER of either an investigation report charging the driver with one or more 2C violations (plus 1 or more summonses), or at the VERY least, an accident report.
i got a call from her insurance today i take it in too the shop on wed. thats some fast service!!
Congratulations on her insurance company taking care of it.
As stated in a previous replay, a lot of people change their story, once they get away from the accident scene.
I'd have gone postal if the cops wouldn't have filled out a report.

That stinks. Glad it wasn't that bad for you. I've always hoped my dirt bike skills would help if the situation ever came up. No ones ever thinking straight after something like this but you should have gotten her to sign something admitting she was at fault.
I'm in Las Vegas and after a hit and run at a bar, my buddy called the cops (of course). They wouldnt even come out to look. No injury=no cops I guess.
I'm military also, so I know we have it good for medical coverage...BUT...I will ALWAYS get on scene medical eval no matter what. You never know what might come up in a couple days PLUS some insurances will pay a small check to you for pain/suffering (not that I've done it) PLUS it will guarantee a cop and police report.
Glad you're okay though and thanks for serving brother.
Wow. I am amazed at how many cities here do not want to do reports. Make sure your insurance agent files the DMV report so you are covered. There should be at least a case number.
