Default Hard Bag Mounting Bracket Covers

Has anyone seen or know where to get some covers for the quick disconnect brackets used to secure my hard bags? When the bags are off the brackets are exposed and am looking for a chrome or black cover that either covers each mount point (4) total or a long section that will cover each side.

In have attached a picture of the Bail Head Receptacle that I want to be able to cover. I think it would be eaiser to make a leather covers vs fabing a steel piece then paint or chrome? Any ideas or someone that has some fabbed covers?

Ive never seen a cover and think the only thing you could do would be get a piece of steel, cut two holes in it and either paint it or cover it in leather like you said. Or how about just taking off the brass colored receptacle so it doesnt stick out? If you come up with something post pics.

On a side note. Looks like you have the detachable docking hardware and you mounted your baggertail inside the docking hardware. Are you still easily able to attach your stuff to the docking hardware. Ill be installing my baggertail soon and was worried I wouldnt be able to use the sissybar when my wife tags along.

The sissy bar comes off and goes on with no problem. I like being able to take it and the hard bags off in just a few seconds. But like my post said, i don't like the unfinished look when the bags are off. It's not a big deal but if I could find or make a cool cover that would be great.

Nice bike. I was also thinking of installing bags on my 05 deluxe. Where did you get the mounting kit from?
