With aftermarket risers you cannot use the top cover for the risers that come with the nacelle. that is about all I know so far.

I am using Chubby 1.5" risers with the hidden hardware top clamp (face plate removed) and they fit under the nacelle cover with some trimming to the cover.

I used different risers and this covered up the void behind the Nacelle

Yes it will fit, you just need to carefully cut the shield with a saber saw then smooth it out with a Dermel tool. This is what the insturctions say. I don'r use my shield to offten but this is what I'm going to do.

Thanks calin, I did'nt know anyone made a cover up piece. I'm gonna order one. This is why I love (hate)this forum.

Phantom, are you referring to the windshield question here or the aftermarket riser question??

I don't want to buy the kit if I don't need it. I just want to be able to use my aftermarket shorty risers and apes that I already have on the bike....
