I've been researching all the past posts on this, as I've wanted to fit one on my Deluxe.
There only seems to be one model for the softail line and the part fitment guide does not include the Deluxe specifically. But since Deluxe's are out there with it, I went ahead and ordered the kit.
I kinda figure that there might be some slight modifications that might be necessary. I reckon I'll find out when it gets here.
Picked mine up on Saturday and installed it yesterday 'cause it was raining. It all went well except the visor trim ring they sold me. The one they sold me has the screw to install it going crosswise and the stock ring has the screw going front to back. I'd prefer the front to back screw if possible. Or do I keep the stock trim ring on and the visor ring go over it ? Are there 2 different ones that can be used and if so does anyone know the part number of the one that uses the front to back mount screw ? My closest dealer is 1-1/2 hrs away
Thanks,
