I just got my crimescene chopper headlight. (GARBAGE)

I just got mycrimescene headlight and brass headbolt covers from J&P today. The headbolt covers are nice, but the set screws stuck out 1/8 inch. The headlight is garbage. The bucket is cast so the finish has pits, and inperfections. The mount would have had to be ground down to be able to pivot the light from pointing up 45 degrees. These parts are going back, and I am disappointed because I have loved this light all summer after seeing it in two hot bike magazines.

Now Headwinds... Any suggestions for an FXST?

well, I added them to my favorites list after a thread I saw a while back, now I can remove them....sorry to hear about your let down though....

I knew just from the prices they charge ($499 for a headlight bucket?) that something was up with them. I wouldn't pay that much if Mr. Bates himself came back from the grave just to hammer me out a bucket made of gold . . .
