Default Cam Question

I have an 07 Night Train 96" B stage 1. A friend just bought an 110" SE Street Glide. He upgraded his cams the 1st week he had it. He offered me his 255 cams for free. Will these fit my motor and will it be a good match with stock heads?

Thanks for any info.

Dave

Is it worth it without head work?

I have never run those cams, but I would bet it would be worth it. There are a lot of guys on the forums that run the 255's and love them. But if youa re doing teh cams, you might as well do a big bore kit at the same time too.

Can't afford it right now. Local dealer quoted 200 bucks to install the cams if I supply the cams and adjustable push rods. That I can swing. Just bought new wheels and seats for the vette. I've got 30,000 miles on the bike right now. Figured I'd wait untill 50,000 or so to do the 103". I wasn't planning on getting free cams or I would have waited on the seats and wheels.
