Default Will it fit
Am planning to get Metzeler 260-18 tire for my Rocker C, my Q, Do i have to change my RIM or it will fit on the STOCK RIM??i have red some articles that says it fits, am Confuse.

There are conversion charts out there ... Or, you can simply call Metzeler and they will tell you your options ... A friend of mine has a metric cruiser where he put a Metzeler wider tire on the back as well. Keep us updated...

I have the Metzeler 260 on my stock rim and it fits perfect, but you will only measure 245mm and not the 260mm width.

Thanks HD100, but can you make it clear to me (but you will only measure 245mm and not the 260mm width)

A metz 260 is only about a 248 on an 8.5 " rim, a standard rim is 8" avon 250 is actually wider at 254.... by my calculations any way...

It's like RockerDan said, when you measure the tire on the stock rim you will not get the full 260mm. There is no disadvantage, I just wanted to tell you this to prevent any disappointment.
